In the 6th minute Joerg Karlen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philippe Stössel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Pfulg struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Philippe Stössel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lenk. When Joerg Karlen came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Lenk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joerg Karlen couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Pfulg in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philippe Stössel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Ulf Emmeneger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Joerg Karlen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philippe Stössel was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, FC Tsatsai R.I.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joerg Karlen came free, but Philippe Stössel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Lenk's Oliver Pfulg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philippe Stössel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Scott Chartré hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. FC Tsatsai R.I.P.'s Philippe Stössel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Pfulg in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to FC Tsatsai R.I.P. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ulf Emmeneger hit a great ball. Philippe Stössel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Pfulg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philippe Stössel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Pfulg, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Lenk's Oliver Pfulg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philippe Stössel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Joerg Karlen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lenk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Oliver Pfulg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Stössel having to interfere. Philippe Stössel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Pfulg went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 played minutes FC Tsatsai R.I.P. got a freekick which was hit by Scott Chartré. In the 53rd play minute Oliver Pfulg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Philippe Stössel. 0-3. If Oliver Pfulg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Pfulg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Philippe Stössel firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Emmeneger during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Philippe Stössel was a little too slow when Joerg Karlen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-4. The attack was good, but when Eduardo Otter in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 75th minute, FC Tsatsai R.I.P.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oliver Pfulg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 76th minute, Foster Felix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joerg Karlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joerg Karlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philippe Stössel came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Lenk's Oliver Pfulg. But to his dismay, Oliver Pfulg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 91 played minutes Lenk got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Siedler. Oliver Pfulg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joerg Karlen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Stössel having to interfere. Lenk's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
