Maurizio Restle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christophe Kurmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gianluca Frutig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Maurizio Restle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Fc Janisen's Scott Baum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Bossardt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Maurizio Restle made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gianluca Frutig sent off a good shot on target.

Timo Kaufmann kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match.
