With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raoul Brauer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peder Nietlisbach struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Raoul Brauer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Schuster was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Lausanne Sport Engelberg's Raoul Brauer got control of the ball when Peder Nietlisbach tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded BENFICA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lausanne Sport Engelberg.
