Alexander Feer's late challenge caught a Ultimate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Feer helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Augst AC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Feer. 7 minutes into the match, Augst AC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Rüdemann came free, but Fernando Pfund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Feer in the 9th minute of play forced Ultimate FC's goalkeeper Florian Moret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexander Feer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Alexander Feer in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 19th minute Miguel Koenig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Pfund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Augst AC's zone, Beat Ferrante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Pfund came out of the goal and Beat Ferrante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Rüdemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Pfund having to interfere. Marc Pelchat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Feer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Moret read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Marc Pelchat came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Augst AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Pelchat couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ultimate FC's Florian Moret got control of the ball when Marc Pelchat tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Augst AC booed when Ultimate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Koenig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Marc Pelchat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Florian Moret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Moret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Feer, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Marc Pelchat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alexander Feer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Moret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Feer, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Marc Pelchat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florian Moret having to make a save. Florian Moret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Pelchat in the 70th minute of the match. Marc Pelchat might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florian Moret. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marc Pelchat ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the game, Augst AC's Marc Pelchat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florian Moret made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Philip Mottolese kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Florian Moret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Feer in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Alexander Feer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Moret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian Moret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Pelchat in the 85th minute of the match. Marc Pelchat ran back to his position shaking his head. Augst AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
