After some careless play in the FC Styls defense, Gunter Schreider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Lehrer. The FC Styls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Lehrer should have stopped the shot. Gunter Schreider succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. A hard shot 25 in the game by Norman Murray from a close distance when the talented Beatus Fröhlicher managed to make a qualified save. Apollo 11's players were relieved. Jon Schneebeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lehrer having to interfere. Jan Lehrer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon Schneebeli's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Jan Lehrer came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Apollo 11's Jon Schneebeli. But to his dismay, Jon Schneebeli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jon Schneebeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, FC Styls's goal looked a bit too open when Gunter Schreider came free, but Jan Lehrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunter Schreider scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Lehrer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barney Schär stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beatus Fröhlicher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barney Schär, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunter Schreider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jan Lehrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Lehrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Schneebeli in the 65th minute of the match. If Herald Lucchesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Gunter Schreider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Lehrer. FC Styls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunter Schreider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in FC Styls's zone, Gunter Schreider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Lehrer came out of the goal and Gunter Schreider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beatus Fröhlicher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barney Schär, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Apollo 11 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Styls throughout the match.
