Spectators: 5300 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) AS Gnosca's Gene Kuster started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gene Kuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without LucaLucan Peyer having to interfere. Miguel Teufer's late challenge caught a AS Gnosca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Teufer helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes FC Janisen 7 got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Teufer. 15 minutes into the match, Claude Wermuth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of LucaLucan Peyer. FC Janisen 7's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claude Wermuth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. LucaLucan Peyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Wermuth in the 18th minute of the match. Claude Wermuth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. LucaLucan Peyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, FC Janisen 7's goal looked a bit too open when Gene Kuster came free, but LucaLucan Peyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, AS Gnosca's Claude Wermuth made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. LucaLucan Peyer was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Etienne Huerlimann managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when FC Janisen 7's Francois Beaulé fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernando Beyer's late challenge caught a FC Janisen 7's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gene Kuster in the 37th minute of play forced FC Janisen 7's goalkeeper LucaLucan Peyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Janisen 7's Miguel Teufer got a free kick in the 38th minute. FC Janisen 7's LucaLucan Peyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gene Kuster in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Claude Wermuth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS Gnosca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Wermuth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenz Hauri was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Francois Beaulé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etienne Huerlimann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Janisen 7's LucaLucan Peyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gene Kuster in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaromir Frei during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AS Gnosca booed when FC Janisen 7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaromir Frei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Berthelette, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gene Kuster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Claude Wermuth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS Gnosca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Wermuth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LucaLucan Peyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gene Kuster in the 75th minute of play. Miguel Teufer kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. AS Gnosca's Felix Berthelette couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Janisen 7. Gene Kuster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. LucaLucan Peyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnny Zeller kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
