A very good chance. 5 minutes into the match, BSC Young Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Cadotsch came free, but Pietro Schmid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Benedikt Bollhalder came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the st.moritz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedikt Bollhalder couldn't finish the play. A collision led to BSC Young Boys getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Olivier Gassmann hit a great ball. Pietro Schmid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Cadotsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Severiano Beschmann had several of the st.moritz's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Marc Maina as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 23rd minute Renato Cadotsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pietro Schmid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Benedikt Bollhalder managed to get in a good position for a shot. st.moritz's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedikt Bollhalder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pietro Schmid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, BSC Young Boys's Nikolai Bühlmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Maina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marc Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Beschmann in the 32nd minute of play. Nikolai Bühlmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Marc Maina made a huge save. Gualtier Malatesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Maina having to interfere. Renato Cadotsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pietro Schmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Cadotsch to make the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Benedikt Bollhalder from a close distance when the talented Pietro Schmid managed to make a qualified save. BSC Young Boys's players were relieved. After 55 played minutes st.moritz got a freekick which was hit by Clint Cadotsch. Jacques Frey was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to BSC Young Boys getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Olivier Gassmann hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, st.moritz's Benedikt Bollhalder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pietro Schmid. Pietro Schmid yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The goalkeeper, Pietro Schmid, was totally fooled by st.moritz's Alexander Panara, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Marc Maina came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by BSC Young Boys's Severiano Beschmann. But to his dismay, Severiano Beschmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 79th minute, Renato Cadotsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikolai Bühlmann took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc Maina. Marc Maina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 85th minute, Tobis Graf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Jacques Frey sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and st.moritz's Marc Maina didn't even have to move. Severiano Beschmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Maina having to interfere. Marc Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Beschmann in the 96th minute of play. BSC Young Boys were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of st.moritz for a fine match.
