The crowd rose to their feet as Severiano Beschmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christoph Ferrante. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Olivier Gassmann hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Philo Gilg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pietro Schmid. BSC Young Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philo Gilg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Philo Gilg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Philo Gilg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Snooky 1902's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philo Gilg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Philo Gilg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pietro Schmid was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Gualtier Malatesta fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BSC Young Boys's protests and gave Gualtier Malatesta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, BSC Young Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualtier Malatesta to maneuver through the defense. Levi Ottiger kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Dennis Nagel fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BSC Young Boys's protests and gave Dennis Nagel a yellow card for diving instead. The FC Snooky 1902 fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when FC Snooky 1902's Philo Gilg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Beschmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Philo Gilg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Pietro Schmid made a huge save. Pietro Schmid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levi Ottiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philo Gilg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pietro Schmid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philo Gilg in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Severiano Beschmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christoph Ferrante was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After a rather tough play, BSC Young Boys's Garrick Rösli got a free kick in the 78th minute. BSC Young Boys's Pietro Schmid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levi Ottiger in the 81st minute of play. Miguel Rhéaume hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolai Bühlmann in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoph Ferrante saved FC Snooky 1902 from getting behind. Pietro Schmid was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Levi Ottiger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Levi Ottiger really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. FC Snooky 1902's Philo Gilg got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pietro Schmid made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Philo Gilg sent off a good shot on target. The BSC Young Boys supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Snooky 1902's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Snooky 1902.
