When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Salvatore Acciaro sped through FC Zurich's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Michon. Salvador Michon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ephraim Haller in the 89th minute of play. Philipp Rausis struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Bobby Tano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zurich. 96 minutes into the game, Titus Schwartz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kuh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Zurich the free kick. FC Kuh walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
