Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jordan Bernuzzi started the match with the kick off. If Jordan Bernuzzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marlo Renkewitz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 5 minutes, David Massey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saclentse's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Massey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute Urbain Ritter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tam Küng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steffisburg's Tam Küng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbain Ritter in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saclentse's goalkeeper Gaspare Struver, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Steffisburg's Neron Süber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspare Struver narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neron Süber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If David Massey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Massey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tam Küng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Jordan Bernuzzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspare Struver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordan Bernuzzi ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 30 minutes, Jordan Bernuzzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 34th minute, Jesse Herz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Steffisburg's Tam Küng didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Steffisburg's zone, David Massey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tam Küng came out of the goal and David Massey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tam Küng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Massey in the 39th minute of play. If Jordan Bernuzzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Steffisburg's goal looked a bit too open when Urbain Ritter came free, but Tam Küng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Steffisburg getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marlo Renkewitz hit a great ball. If Urbain Ritter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tam Küng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbain Ritter, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbain Ritter to strike the kick off in the second half. Urbain Ritter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tam Küng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Steffisburg got a freekick which was hit by Marlo Renkewitz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbain Ritter in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tam Küng saved Steffisburg from getting behind. The supporters of Steffisburg booed when Saclentse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Herz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jordan Bernuzzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Saclentse booed when Steffisburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordell Dupéré didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Saclentse:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Steffisburg:s goal. Tam Küng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garin Wellauer in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Neron Süber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbain Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by David Massey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 95th minute, Jordan Bernuzzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Neron Süber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stephan Verdon charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stephan Verdon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stephan Verdon kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
