Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, FC Thun's goal looked a bit too open when Nicola Diederich came free, but Karsten Gerner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Ignaz Schwaller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes FC Thun got a freekick which was hit by Robby Reich. Karsten Gerner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolphe Rochat's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Karsten Gerner came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gunt's Geraldo Nussbaum. But to his dismay, Geraldo Nussbaum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Christian Wocher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karsten Gerner came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Gunt's Rodolphe Rochat. But to his dismay, Rodolphe Rochat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Gunt getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Roman Faber hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, FC Thun's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolphe Rochat came free, but Karsten Gerner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicola Diederich in the 40th minute of play forced FC Thun's goalkeeper Karsten Gerner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Thun getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Christian Wocher hit a great ball. Rodolphe Rochat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Rodolphe Rochat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karsten Gerner. FC Thun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolphe Rochat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 48 minutes into the match, Gunt's Geraldo Nussbaum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karsten Gerner narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

After a rather tough play, FC Thun's Robby Reich got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Karsten Gerner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Nussbaum in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Rodolphe Rochat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gunt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Karsten Gerner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicola Diederich in the 59th minute of the match. Rodolphe Rochat came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karsten Gerner could save by the left post. In the 62nd minute Ignaz Schwaller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Gerner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Nepomuk Croteau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quintinus Freeh skillfully saved the ball. In the 64th minute, Roland Hunkeler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Gerner made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Nicola Diederich sent off a good shot on target. Geraldo Nussbaum was slow to take the kick. During this time Gunt's players had a chance to rest. Roland Hunkeler was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Karsten Gerner came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Gunt's Roland Hunkeler. But to his dismay, Roland Hunkeler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Rodolphe Rochat scored 0-8 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karsten Gerner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jefferson Miani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintinus Freeh having to interfere. Nicola Diederich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Karsten Gerner made a huge save. If Rodolphe Rochat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Rodolphe Rochat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gunt's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
