Malvin Estevis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Dick Chauvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Goliath Domini made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Axenstein's Gerulf Fäh. Axenstein's Walton Gaillou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Chauvet in the 40th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dick Chauvet was the one to do the kick off. Axenstein's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
