FC Winznau were furious when Colin Marini was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Winznau! FC Winznau's Jurij Sablone got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Tegerfelden's goal looked a bit too open when Jurij Sablone came free, but Tony Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Winznau's Jurij Sablone in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 24th minute Jurij Sablone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Charles Labrie made a precise shot to the right of Tony Frey. Tegerfelden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tony Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Labrie in the 31st minute of the match. Jurij Sablone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Frey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Favian Schwarz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Enea Wechsler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tegerfelden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enea Wechsler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, FC Winznau's Jurij Sablone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Frey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Wertscher to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Wertscher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Tegerfelden's goalkeeper Tony Frey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charles Labrie. Jurij Sablone might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Frey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurij Sablone ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Wertscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pablo Schenker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Labrie in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded FC Winznau left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tegerfelden.
