Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jasper Duplanty to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Reiner Seitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuba Libre Basel's supporters rose to their feet, but Reiner Seitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Emmenegger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Imperial Soldiers's Dimitrij Biermann got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ansgar Bilodeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso De Grandis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Imperial Soldiers's Gregory Spiller got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th match minute, Cuba Libre Basel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heino Rohrer to maneuver through the defense. Imperial Soldiers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
