Fabiano Jenny made in the 3rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dragan Scheuber however managed to control. A collision led to Red-Skorpion getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dominic Fenstermacher hit a great ball. Tin Genazzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Benedict Felix made a huge save. In the 23rd match minute, Perudiego was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dany Wehrlin to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Red-Skorpion got a corner. Perudiego's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabiano Jenny ran over to the corner to take the kick. 28 minutes into the match, Dany Wehrlin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Red-Skorpion's Michael Theiler. Michael Theiler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute Julius Schöpfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Theiler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pat Schlüssel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Michael Theiler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Julius Schöpfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Theiler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius Schöpfer took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Theiler. Michael Theiler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Julius Schöpfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Michael Theiler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perudiego's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Dragan Scheuber scored to the left of an out of position Benedict Felix, making the score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tin Genazzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Theiler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Schlüssel in the 57th minute of the match. Dany Wehrlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pat Schlüssel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Theiler having to interfere. Rodrique Winkler kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Perudiego booed when Red-Skorpion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragan Scheuber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Red-Skorpion's Dominic Fenstermacher got a free kick in the 70th minute. Joseph Wicky hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Michael Theiler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liborius Hitz in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Red-Skorpion's Michael Theiler got control of the ball when Pat Schlüssel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Perudiego's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabien Kretz in the 81st minute. When Pat Schlüssel came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Perudiego fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pat Schlüssel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Schöpfer in the 93rd minute of play forced Red-Skorpion's goalkeeper Michael Theiler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Perudiego walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
