Olympio Bürgler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armand Theijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Üzeyir Orhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cala's Armand Theijs got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philipp Ringeli charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philipp Ringeli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Mittlersass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Ringeli to maneuver through the defense. Üzeyir Orhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Feliu having to interfere. Roque Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Van Geertruyden in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Armand Theijs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mittlersass's Roque Feliu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dave Mader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janos Cacciatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bill Nietlispach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gustavo López had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Van Geertruyden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mittlersass's Roque Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Theijs in the 40th minute of play. When Üzeyir Orhan came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Üzeyir Orhan couldn't finish the play. Armand Theijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armand Theijs was the one to do the kick off. Armand Theijs took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Feliu. Roque Feliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luigi Dresner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Roque Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luigi Dresner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mittlersass's Roque Feliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Mittlersass from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Armand Theijs took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Roque Feliu to make any attempt to save it. When Cala's Armand Theijs in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mittlersass's goalie prevented a goal. Mittlersass's Roque Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Theijs in the 68th minute of play. Roque Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Theijs in the 70th minute of the match. If Gustavo López had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Pierre Van Geertruyden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre Van Geertruyden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Cala's Roque Feliu threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pierre Van Geertruyden, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 80 minutes into the game, Carlo Mächler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mittlersass's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cala the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armand Theijs in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Feliu saved Mittlersass from getting behind. If Armand Theijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Üzeyir Orhan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roque Feliu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Gustavo López hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
