Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hannes de Pelsmaker made the kick off which started today's match. Janes Damman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Opdebeeck in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Quillian Stessel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Janes Damman. KSV Ellemelle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quillian Stessel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Triquetra AFC's Rein Opdebeeck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Janes Damman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quillian Stessel got free with Janes Damman in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Triquetra AFC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Triquetra AFC's Rein Opdebeeck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Herve Stessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Verheyden in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Jerome Coomans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quillian Stessel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Janes Damman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guust Dekens lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Jerome Coomans shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Quillian Stessel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Janes Damman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein Opdebeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quillian Stessel scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Janes Damman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute Cornelis Ackermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janes Damman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quillian Stessel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Janes Damman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janes Damman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quillian Stessel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Quillian Stessel might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janes Damman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quillian Stessel ran back to his position shaking his head. When Eddy Justens fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triquetra AFC's protests and gave Eddy Justens a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KSV Ellemelle booed when Triquetra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Justens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janes Damman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Opdebeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Quillian Stessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to KSV Ellemelle getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Xander-Paul De Swert hit a great ball. Quillian Stessel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janes Damman having to make a save. Quillian Stessel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Triquetra AFC had played much better football throughout.
