In the 7th minute Gilian Olemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Van Glabeeke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dries Weijnants in the 10th minute of play forced Vinkwijk's goalkeeper Glenn Van Glabeeke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Teunis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remi Demarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remi Demarez in the 13th minute of play forced KV Lowingen's goalkeeper Jerome Teunis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Teunis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieterjan Verbeeck in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieterjan Verbeeck in the 16th minute of play forced KV Lowingen's goalkeeper Jerome Teunis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilian Olemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Van Glabeeke having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilian Olemans in the 19th minute of play forced Vinkwijk's goalkeeper Glenn Van Glabeeke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, KV Lowingen's Chris-George Waterloos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Glenn Van Glabeeke. Jerome Teunis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remi Demarez in the 27th minute of play. Hubert De Kerper scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glenn Van Glabeeke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Pieterjan Verbeeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinkwijk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Lowingen the free kick. After 32 played minutes Vinkwijk got a freekick which was hit by Pieterjan Verbeeck. Gilian Olemans took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glenn Van Glabeeke. Glenn Van Glabeeke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remi Demarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Remi Demarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hubert De Kerper in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Van Glabeeke saved Vinkwijk from getting behind. Gilian Olemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Glenn Van Glabeeke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert De Kerper in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glenn Van Glabeeke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when KV Lowingen's Hubert De Kerper fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gilian Olemans struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Glenn Van Glabeeke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. During the 74th minute of the match Pieterjan Verbeeck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pieterjan Verbeeck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Pieterjan Verbeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Vinkwijk's Glenn Van Glabeeke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilian Olemans in the 77th minute of play. Gilian Olemans scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glenn Van Glabeeke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 minutes of play, KV Lowingen's Gilian Olemans made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glenn Van Glabeeke was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hubert De Kerper in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Van Glabeeke saved Vinkwijk from getting behind. After having played for 96 minutes, Hubert De Kerper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Lowingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert De Kerper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that KV Lowingen were the better team. KV Lowingen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
