Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) FC Herve's Gert-Jan Antheunis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bob Meersmans charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bob Meersmans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 7 minutes into the match, Cederique Strupar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Balthazar Raeijmaeckers. Reigerloo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cederique Strupar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. FC Herve's Gert-Jan Antheunis got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match Dieter Luijten shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philipp Temmerman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 21 minutes in the game, Gert-Jan Antheunis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Balthazar Raeijmaeckers having to interfere. Marnix Roscams hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gert-Jan Antheunis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Thomas Samyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philipp Temmerman was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Arne De Schutter put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Philipp Temmerman. Thomas Samyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Temmerman having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Artur Van Caubergen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Herve and the Reigerloo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Herve getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Artur Van Caubergen hit a great ball. Arne De Schutter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Temmerman having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arne De Schutter made a kick off. Thomas Samyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Philipp Temmerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Philipp Temmerman managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Reigerloo's Thomas Samyn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the game, Francois Quintens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Balthazar Raeijmaeckers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gert-Jan Antheunis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthazar Raeijmaeckers having to interfere. Reigerloo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bob Meersmans in the 75th minute. After taking down the ball on Reigerloo's corner Bob Meersmans fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Philipp Temmerman quite easily take care of the ball. If Arne De Schutter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Gert-Jan Antheunis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Herve booed when Reigerloo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvan Van Hoyveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Herve's Francois Quintens got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reigerloo's Balthazar Raeijmaeckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert-Jan Antheunis in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Arne De Schutter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philipp Temmerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert-Jan Antheunis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthazar Raeijmaeckers having to interfere. If Gert-Jan Antheunis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balthazar Raeijmaeckers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francois Quintens's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
