After a defensive mix-up in KFC Vielsalm's zone, Alexander De Potter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gill Van Huele came out of the goal and Alexander De Potter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Basiel Meynen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Van Huele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Alexander De Potter in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Basiel Meynen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gill Van Huele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Basiel Meynen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Harry Potter FC's goalkeeper Danny Van Hove had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Omblet. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The Harry Potter FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
