The supporters of Haneffe booed when KFC Gooik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieux Wolfdoncx didn't get a good kick on the ball. KFC Gooik's Frederic de Pelsmacker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Gooik from getting a goal against them. Abel Manaers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Frederic de Pelsmacker made a huge save. Frederic de Pelsmacker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Manaers's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Benne Samyn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederic de Pelsmacker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frederic de Pelsmacker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Manaers in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Mathieux Wolfdoncx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65thth minute of the game Abel Manaers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Gooik's Frederic de Pelsmacker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wannes Flocquier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Manaers got in the 77th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Frederic de Pelsmacker handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Frederic de Pelsmacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Vervaet in the 79th minute of the match. Palmer Jackson's late challenge caught a KFC Gooik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Palmer Jackson helped the player get up and apologised. Palmer Jackson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Rolf Koens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Frederic de Pelsmacker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Kurt Vervaet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Frank Rutten shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederic de Pelsmacker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kurt Vervaet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haneffe were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing KFC Gooik to leave the ground with a draw.
