Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yanick Vounckx started the match with the kick off. Yanick Vounckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jeffrey Baeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Jef Minnen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Yanick Vounckx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breemdonck's supporters rose to their feet, but Yanick Vounckx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeffrey Baeten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Henskens hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes, Singelberg's Pierre-Paul Postens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robbe Vaes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Singelberg reached it. After a rather tough play, Singelberg's Maarten Vandenbosch got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Yanick Vounckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wayne Uijtterhoeven did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jeffrey Baeten 28 minutes into the match. Singelberg's Jeffrey Baeten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Singelberg from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Pieterjan Van Dongel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeffrey Baeten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wayne Uijtterhoeven in the 43rd minute. Yanick Vounckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Baeten having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Claude Pelsmaeckers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Singelberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Breemdonck the free kick. After 47 played minutes Singelberg got a freekick which was hit by Claude Pelsmaeckers. In the 48th minute of the match Ward De Raedemaecker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeffrey Baeten skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieter Van den Berge made a kick off. Singelberg's Jeffrey Baeten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wayne Uijtterhoeven in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Dieter Van den Berge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robbe Vaes. The goal made the score 1-1. 59 minutes into the game, Robben Loosen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Singelberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Breemdonck the free kick. In the 59th minute, Robben Loosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeffrey Baeten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Uijtterhoeven in the 61st minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Breemdonck's Yanick Vounckx made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeffrey Baeten was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Breemdonck's Romain Verstraeten got a free kick in the 70th minute. Dieter Van den Berge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbe Vaes having to interfere. Ruben Henskens kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jef Minnen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbe Vaes having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Singelberg's goal looked a bit too open when Yanick Vounckx came free, but Jeffrey Baeten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Dieter Van den Berge fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Robbe Vaes, passed just outside the right post. Robbe Vaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieter Van den Berge, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Franck Van Huruck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ward De Raedemaecker kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Breemdonck's goalkeeper Robbe Vaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Paul Postens. There was no doubt that Breemdonck were the better team. Breemdonck's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
