Spectators: 7436 (Terracing: 5578, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 148) In the 7th minute Nicolaas Bourgignon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Vinx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ive Pelleman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Laeremans having to make a save. Serge Gallot's late challenge caught a Caput Bovis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serge Gallot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Momignies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge Gallot to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Elbert ten Rouwelaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Laeremans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Olivier Maerschalckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Vinx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caput Bovis's Anton Laeremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elbert ten Rouwelaar in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olivier Maerschalckx during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olivier Maerschalckx hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ive Pelleman in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Laeremans saved Caput Bovis from getting behind. Momignies's Ive Pelleman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ive Pelleman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Anton Laeremans made a huge save. Rob Vinx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Maenhout in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Momignies's zone, Staf Van der Veeken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Vinx came out of the goal and Staf Van der Veeken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ive Pelleman was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Elbert ten Rouwelaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Momignies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elbert ten Rouwelaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Serge Gallot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Ive Pelleman sped through Caput Bovis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anton Laeremans. If Ive Pelleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ive Pelleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Caput Bovis's goal looked a bit too open when Ive Pelleman came free, but Anton Laeremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Laeremans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elbert ten Rouwelaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes of play, Momignies's Ive Pelleman made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Laeremans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Laeremans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izak De Meesemaeckere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Ive Pelleman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Laeremans was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Álvaro Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Laeremans having to interfere. In the 90th minute Ive Pelleman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Laeremans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Momignies's Elbert ten Rouwelaar got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Laeremans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elbert ten Rouwelaar in the 92nd minute of the match. Ive Pelleman took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Laeremans. Anton Laeremans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Momignies walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
