Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frederick Hombroeckx started the match with the kick off. The supporters of KAA Lovendegem booed when 332 Outrijve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Portai didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederick Hombroeckx in the 13th minute of play forced 332 Outrijve's goalkeeper Lou Van de Velde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theo Van den Broeck got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 24th match minute before Augustijn De Muijser had time to react. Frederick Raeijmaeckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lou Van de Velde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustijn De Muijser made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Theo Van den Broeck sent off a good shot on target. Theo Van den Broeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theo Van den Broeck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Augustijn De Muijser when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Augustijn De Muijser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theo Van den Broeck in the 45th minute. With a little luck, KAA Lovendegem's Augustijn De Muijser got control of the ball when Lars Montens tried to sneak it across the goal line.

After having played for 56 minutes, Jeremy Beeckmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 332 Outrijve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremy Beeckmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tommas Van Houtvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KAA Lovendegem's Ivo Celis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. KAA Lovendegem's Augustijn De Muijser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommas Van Houtvin in the 64th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Theo Van den Broeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAA Lovendegem's Augustijn De Muijser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augustijn De Muijser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theo Van den Broeck's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 332 Outrijve's Tommas Van Houtvin got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommas Van Houtvin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augustijn De Muijser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Tommas Van Houtvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustijn De Muijser. KAA Lovendegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommas Van Houtvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Augustijn De Muijser came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by 332 Outrijve's Theo Van den Broeck. But to his dismay, Theo Van den Broeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Theo Van den Broeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augustijn De Muijser was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After 94 minutes, Frederick Hombroeckx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAA Lovendegem and the 332 Outrijve players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee ended the match the 332 Outrijve players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
