Spectators: 6692 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ian De Vorster started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ian De Vorster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woesten's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian De Vorster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robbrecht Maes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robbrecht Maes came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Woesten's Renaud Lenoir. But to his dismay, Renaud Lenoir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Robbrecht Maes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renaud Lenoir, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jef De Wit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hendrik-Jan Gebuers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian De Vorster in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robbrecht Maes saved RSC Marckebeek from getting behind. Woesten's Renaud Lenoir got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Leo Robijns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian De Vorster in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robbrecht Maes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renaud Lenoir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robbrecht Maes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Ian De Vorster in the 31st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renaud Lenoir in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robbrecht Maes saved RSC Marckebeek from getting behind. Jef De Wit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joannes Schellekens charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joannes Schellekens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Woesten booed when RSC Marckebeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joannes Schellekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RSC Marckebeek's goalkeeper Robbrecht Maes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renaud Lenoir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Alphonse Schoenmakers made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alphonse Schoenmakers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robbrecht Maes was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Ian De Vorster capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ian De Vorster really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 58 minutes of play RSC Marckebeek's Joannes Schellekens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Marckebeek's zone, Renaud Lenoir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbrecht Maes came out of the goal and Renaud Lenoir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jef De Wit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Woesten's Ian De Vorster was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Robbrecht Maes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. RSC Marckebeek's Robbrecht Maes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian De Vorster in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, RSC Marckebeek's Robbrecht Maes got control of the ball when Renaud Lenoir tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 90 in the game by Renaud Lenoir from a close distance when the talented Robbrecht Maes managed to make a qualified save. RSC Marckebeek's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian De Vorster in the 91st minute of play forced RSC Marckebeek's goalkeeper Robbrecht Maes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jef De Wit took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hendrik-Jan Gebuers. Hendrik-Jan Gebuers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Woesten players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
