Qwinten De Vleeschauwere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Van Nel having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Steffen Weygaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC anderlecht's Lukas Van Landschoot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Emile Van Den Linden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lukas Van Landschoot. Emile Van Den Linden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pino Van Poucke came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lukas Van Landschoot could save by the left post. Jamie Decloedt hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. RSC anderlecht's Renaut de la Croix got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renaut de la Croix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Renzo Sens made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. St. Norbert College's Robin Van Nel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, RSC anderlecht's Renaut de la Croix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Van Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th of the match, Steffen Weygaerts tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lukas Van Landschoot got in the way and made a wonderful save. After having played for 41 minutes, Pino Van Poucke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St. Norbert College's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pino Van Poucke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steffen Weygaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lukas Van Landschoot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renzo Sens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steffen Weygaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lukas Van Landschoot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukas Van Landschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pino Van Poucke in the 54th minute of play. If Pino Van Poucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Van Nel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renzo Sens went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Renzo Sens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emile Van Den Linden's late challenge caught a RSC anderlecht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emile Van Den Linden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Emile Van Den Linden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renzo Sens in the 74th minute of play forced St. Norbert College's goalkeeper Robin Van Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Van Nel had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Pino Van Hallebeeck's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Robin Van Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renzo Sens, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, RSC anderlecht's goal looked a bit too open when Pino Van Poucke came free, but Lukas Van Landschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Van Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renzo Sens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renaut de la Croix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
