If Jens Van Lier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th match minute, St. Norbert College was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Decloedt to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, FC Baraque's Arthur-Maurits Soens broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens Van Lier in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Van Nel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind St. Norbert College's goalkeeper Robin Van Nel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 17 played minutes St. Norbert College got a freekick which was hit by Emile Van Den Linden. Arthur-Maurits Soens hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Steffen Weygaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pino Van Poucke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunther Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Giles Ceustermans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Baraque and the St. Norbert College players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Baraque getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Giles Ceustermans hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Baraque's zone, Pino Van Poucke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunther Claes came out of the goal and Pino Van Poucke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens Van Lier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steffen Weygaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunther Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Baraque's Joonatan De Vreese got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jens Van Lier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Van Nel having to interfere. Pino Van Poucke struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gunther Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. Norbert College. Robin Van Nel was a little too slow when Billy Steenbecks got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-0. If Jens Van Lier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The corner led St. Norbert College's Willy Berchmans to fire away a dangerous shot which Gunther Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Steffen Weygaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pino Van Poucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Baraque's Gunther Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Weygaerts in the 65th minute of play. Jens Van Lier struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Robin Van Nel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Baraque. In the 67th minute Jens Van Lier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, FC Baraque's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Weygaerts came free, but Gunther Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jens Van Lier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Huybrechts hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes in the game, Pino Van Poucke fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gunther Claes having to interfere. Gunther Claes came out of the goal and Steffen Weygaerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pino Van Poucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute FC Baraque were awarded a corner. Arthur-Maurits Soens went to the cornerflag to take it. St. Norbert College's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
