The referee showed Antoine Goovaerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 4 minutes into the match, CH Gentierakos's goal looked a bit too open when Wart Weynants came free, but Karel Vanpevenaeyge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 played minutes Wart Weynants rounded CH Gentierakos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. With a little luck, CH Gentierakos's Karel Vanpevenaeyge got control of the ball when Wart Weynants tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karel Vanpevenaeyge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wart Weynants in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wart Weynants in the 14th minute of play forced CH Gentierakos's goalkeeper Karel Vanpevenaeyge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waut De Maesschalck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Hekelgem's Wart Weynants ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karel Vanpevenaeyge. Karel Vanpevenaeyge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 25th minute, Wart Weynants got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Waut De Maesschalck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karel Vanpevenaeyge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wart Weynants recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renaut De Coninck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Karel Vanpevenaeyge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wart Weynants fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Vanpevenaeyge having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Edmond Denys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hekelgem's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmond Denys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karel Vanpevenaeyge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wart Weynants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wart Weynants couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CH Gentierakos's goalkeeper Karel Vanpevenaeyge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renaut De Coninck might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karel Vanpevenaeyge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renaut De Coninck ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Renaut De Coninck notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CH Gentierakos's Karel Vanpevenaeyge. Karel Vanpevenaeyge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karel Vanpevenaeyge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wart Weynants, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Wart Weynants recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wart Weynants in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karel Vanpevenaeyge saved CH Gentierakos from getting behind. Renaut De Coninck succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Hekelgem walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
