After having played for 7 minutes, Andris Cooreman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Postel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andris Cooreman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute of the match Johannes Styles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loui Van Hallebeeck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Loid Goebelens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zwarte Leeuw's supporters rose to their feet, but Loid Goebelens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loui Van Hallebeeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Zwarte Leeuw booed when KFC Postel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thommy Goethuys didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Roy Kint came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Zwarte Leeuw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Kint couldn't finish the play. Loui Van Hallebeeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loid Goebelens in the 18th minute. Roy Kint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Loui Van Hallebeeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andris Cooreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andris Cooreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Zwarte Leeuw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaas Van Meel to maneuver through the defense. Andris Cooreman's late challenge caught a Zwarte Leeuw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andris Cooreman helped the player get up and apologised. Andris Cooreman hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Arnauld Vandenbosch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Postel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnauld Vandenbosch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Andris Cooreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erwin Jennis made a kick off. Andris Cooreman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Zwarte Leeuw's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Jennis came free, but Jacob Van Der Talen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Loid Goebelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Van Hallebeeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierrot Terwenhout kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Loui Van Hallebeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Kint in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zwarte Leeuw's Niel Dumont got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, KFC Postel's Arnauld Vandenbosch tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jacob Van Der Talen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Jennis in the 65th minute of play. If Andris Cooreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andris Cooreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zwarte Leeuw's Jacob Van Der Talen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Zwarte Leeuw from getting a goal against them. When Loid Goebelens came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Zwarte Leeuw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loid Goebelens couldn't finish the play. Roy Kint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loid Goebelens in the 80th minute of play forced KFC Postel's goalkeeper Loui Van Hallebeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Jennis in the 85th minute of play forced Zwarte Leeuw's goalkeeper Jacob Van Der Talen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andris Cooreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Jennis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KFC Postel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
