The supporters of SK Woud booed when Schaffen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giles Wils didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gino Bekaert kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Schaffen's goal looked a bit too open when Wart Minnen came free, but Stein Demeester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wart Minnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Stein Demeester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, one of Schaffen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Schaffen. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for SK Woud. Jordi Weijgaerts stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stein Demeester. 2-0. Stein Demeester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wart Minnen in the 31st minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Charl Dekens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stein Demeester skillfully saved the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wart Minnen to make the kick off. Yoeri Leempoels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Huijberechts having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Schaffen's zone, Wart Minnen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stein Demeester came out of the goal and Wart Minnen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wart Minnen came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the SK Woud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wart Minnen couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Wart Minnen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stein Demeester was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Giles Wils charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giles Wils the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giles Wils kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Stein Demeester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SK Woud fully deserved thier win.
