With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristof Stuckens in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Hairpoel saved F.C. Stuiven from getting behind. Victor Hairpoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martijn Schooters, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martijn Schooters in the 20th minute of play forced F.C. Stuiven's goalkeeper Victor Hairpoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nickolas Uyttebroeck kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Martijn Schooters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. VC Erquennes's Andreas Bouman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Van Den Driessche in the 34th minute of play. Andreas Bouman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Wilfried Van Den Driessche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Bouman having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, VC Erquennes's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Deswarte came free, but Andreas Bouman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Deswarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loui Lenaerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Hairpoel having to make a save. After 65 minutes, Roger Bosmans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Stuiven and the VC Erquennes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Roger Bosmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wilfried Van Den Driessche came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the F.C. Stuiven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfried Van Den Driessche couldn't finish the play. Andreas Bouman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Deswarte in the 70th minute of the match. Kristof Stuckenss short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Victor Hairpoel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Kristof Stuckens fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Erquennes's protests and gave Kristof Stuckens a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to VC Erquennes getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Kristof Stuckens hit a great ball. Victor Hairpoel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristof Stuckens in the 75th minute. Cornelis De Maret hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, F.C. Stuiven's goalkeeper Victor Hairpoel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristof Stuckens. VC Erquennes's Andreas Bouman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Deswarte in the 78th minute of play. Vicente Deswarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Bouman having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Stuiven's goalkeeper Victor Hairpoel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Vicente Deswarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Bouman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. VC Erquennes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
