If Jannes Van Aerschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the game, Maxime Decloedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Thoricourt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Entente Durbuy the free kick. 13 minutes into the game, one of AFC Thoricourt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tommi Dekker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alain Hosselaer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Tommi Dekker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alain Hosselaer. Tommi Dekker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Gabriel De Vaddere kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Rafael Schuts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Entente Durbuy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Alain Hosselaer came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Thoricourt's Tommi Dekker. But to his dismay, Tommi Dekker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Steve Steckens kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. If Jaques Cockaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jannes Van Aerschot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, one of AFC Thoricourt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jannes Van Aerschot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibo Roofhoof having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Jaques Cockaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Entente Durbuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaques Cockaerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kasper Deckkers kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Rafael Schuts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFC Thoricourt's Tibo Roofhoof proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Thoricourt from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, AFC Thoricourt's Steve Steckens got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tommi Dekker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Alain Hosselaer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alain Hosselaer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Vervaet in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommi Dekker in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alain Hosselaer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marc Vervaet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alain Hosselaer having to interfere. Rafael Everts hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Entente Durbuy's zone, Tommi Dekker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alain Hosselaer came out of the goal and Tommi Dekker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommi Dekker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alain Hosselaer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Tibo Roofhoof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jannes Van Aerschot in the 100th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
