Remie Impens was a little too slow when Bernd Sanders got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Remie Impens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Van Den Broeck in the 23rd minute of play. white glove's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Bernd Sanders scored to the left of an out of position Remie Impens, making the score, 2-0. Benjamin Gillis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joos Van Aertvinck in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Joos Van Aertvinck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. white glove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joos Van Aertvinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Van Den Broeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Remie Impens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Gielis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Remie Impens made a huge save. Remie Impens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joe Gielis in the 42nd minute. When Ivan Van Den Broeck came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Amel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Van Den Broeck couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Van Den Broeck to make the kick off. Joos Van Aertvinck hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, white glove's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Van Den Broeck came free, but Remie Impens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remie Impens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Gielis in the 57th minute of the match. Remie Impens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robby Boegaerts went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ivan Van Den Broeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remie Impens having to interfere. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for white glove! Remie Impens had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Gilles Ingelborgh's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Remie Impens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Van Den Broeck in the 83rd minute of play. Cederik De Kerpel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benjamin Gillis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Joe Gielis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remie Impens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to white glove getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Joos Van Aertvinck hit a great ball. Remie Impens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Van Den Broeck went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 100 minutes into the match, Ivan Van Den Broeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remie Impens. white glove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Van Den Broeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Amel fans cheered their team off the field, for while white glove had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
