Dimitri De Keuster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Club Raeren's goal looked a bit too open when Michiel Vincx came free, but Dimitri De Keuster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Sterckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michiel Vincx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri De Keuster having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, VC Vlekkem's Marc Sterckx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitri De Keuster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When VC Vlekkem's Michiel Vincx in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Raeren's goalie prevented a goal. Michiel Vincx struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dimitri De Keuster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Vlekkem. In the 25thth minute of the game Michiel Vincx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Raeren's Dimitri De Keuster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michiel Vincx scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitri De Keuster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Mattias Van Goethem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mattias Van Goethem received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andries Wijngaerts came out and tried to block the shot, but Mattias Van Goethem slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Club Raeren's Tjorven Uijtterhoven got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Club Raeren getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Willem De Roest hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michiel Vincx made a kick off. Marc Sterckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dimitri De Keuster made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Club Raeren's zone, Michiel Vincx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitri De Keuster came out of the goal and Michiel Vincx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Sterckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Dimitri De Keuster made a huge save. Marc Sterckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri De Keuster having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Mattias Van Goethem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Preuveneer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marc Sterckx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, VC Vlekkem's Miguel Preuveneer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
