DF G-groen-N's Florian Torfs got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Wart Cuveliers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Torfs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wart Cuveliers in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Goffrey Gelens saved DF G-groen-N from getting behind. DF G-groen-N's Goffrey Gelens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wart Cuveliers in the 20th minute of play. DF G-groen-N's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wart Cuveliers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, DF G-groen-N's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Boumans came free, but Goffrey Gelens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Swartenbroekx kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, FC Boterpot's Wart Cuveliers made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Goffrey Gelens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerard Smeyers charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerard Smeyers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 37 minutes into the match, Joe Boumans notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of DF G-groen-N's Goffrey Gelens. Goffrey Gelens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wart Cuveliers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goffrey Gelens having to interfere. Joe Boumans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Goffrey Gelens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathijs Coenens made a kick off. Joe Boumans succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. 59 minutes into the match, Joe Boumans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Goffrey Gelens, 1-5. The supporters of FC Boterpot booed when DF G-groen-N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achilles Justus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, DF G-groen-N's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Boumans came free, but Goffrey Gelens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wart Cuveliers came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Boterpot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wart Cuveliers couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes FC Boterpot got a freekick which was hit by Evert-Jan Henskens. Mathijs Coenens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Florian Torfs notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of FC Boterpot's Yves Hollants. Yves Hollants was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
