Etienne van Bedts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter-Jan De Bruyn having to interfere. With his leg Lou Van Leempoel managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when SK Graty's Lennart Devaux fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guido Engelborghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Devaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Devaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Lou Van Leempoel made a huge save. Lou Van Leempoel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Devaux in the 36th minute. Etienne van Bedts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter-Jan De Bruyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Etienne van Bedts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 56th minute, Guido Engelborghs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lou Van Leempoel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Peter-Jan De Bruyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Degens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Mike Degens lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Peter-Jan De Bruyn. Etienne van Bedts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter-Jan De Bruyn having to interfere. The SK Graty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter-Jan De Bruyn should have stopped the shot. The supporters of FC. Pikolas booed when SK Graty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Smeulders didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pikolas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
