Binjamin Rondou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maarten Sterks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of KAA Werbeek booed when FC MooiBoys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in KAA Werbeek's zone, Binjamin Rondou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maarten Sterks came out of the goal and Binjamin Rondou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the KAA Werbeek players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC MooiBoys.
