In the 17th minute, Will Wyfliets left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KVC Berchem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When KVC Berchem's Emile Isemborgh in 21 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Axell Lefevere guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When Will Wyfliets came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the KVC Berchem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Will Wyfliets couldn't finish the play. Jannes Delamenin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xander-Paul Wuets went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Sylvan Goosens kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Tuur Hally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Axell Lefevere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axell Lefevere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuur Hally, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.V.Aartselaar's goalkeeper Axell Lefevere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Emile Isemborgh notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of S.V.Aartselaar's Axell Lefevere. Axell Lefevere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, KVC Berchem's Matias Van der Roost sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axell Lefevere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luk Hemberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waut Bernaerts made a kick off. Jannes Delamenin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waut Bernaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Will Wyfliets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59thth minute of the game Tuur Hally who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.V.Aartselaar's Axell Lefevere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 60 minutes on the clock, Benjamin Rijniers commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fredrik Limpens shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 66 minutes into the match, S.V.Aartselaar's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Van der Roost came free, but Axell Lefevere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Will Wyfliets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Van der Roost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Matias Van der Roost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axell Lefevere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harrie Coppens in the 83rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Gert De nuijter in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KVC Berchem's Emile Isemborgh. If Matias Van der Roost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
