Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stef De Jonghe made the kick off which started today's match. Chris-George Jaddon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuur Hally in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, FC Axel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joos Vandommele to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, KVC Berchem's Tuur Hally sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chris-George Jaddon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tuur Hally had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chris-George Jaddon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuur Hally, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jannes Delamenin came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Axel's Gerard Roockeloos. But to his dismay, Gerard Roockeloos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. KVC Berchem's Jannes Delamenin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stef De Jonghe in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, KVC Berchem's Tuur Hally ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chris-George Jaddon. Chris-George Jaddon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 26th minute, Tuur Hally got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chris-George Jaddon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuur Hally in the 28th minute of the match. FC Axel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Matias Van der Roost scored to the left of an out of position Chris-George Jaddon, making the score, 2-2. The supporters of FC Axel booed when KVC Berchem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Schrevens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerard Roockeloos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Remco Manaers fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KVC Berchem's protests and gave Remco Manaers a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KVC Berchem's Remco Manaers got a free kick in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, FC Axel's goal looked a bit too open when Tuur Hally came free, but Chris-George Jaddon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannes Delamenin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joos Vandommele in the 47th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tuur Hally made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, KVC Berchem's Matias Van der Roost nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chris-George Jaddon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. When Tuur Hally came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the KVC Berchem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuur Hally couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, FC Axel's Gerard Roockeloos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jannes Delamenin. Jannes Delamenin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Stef De Jonghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannes Delamenin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerard Roockeloos got free with Jannes Delamenin in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Axel booed when KVC Berchem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emile Isemborgh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerard Roockeloos took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jannes Delamenin. Jannes Delamenin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Tuur Hally sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Roockeloos took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jannes Delamenin. Jannes Delamenin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. 75 minutes into the match, KVC Berchem's goal looked a bit too open when Stef De Jonghe came free, but Jannes Delamenin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Matias Van der Roost's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chris-George Jaddon was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Chris-George Jaddon came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by KVC Berchem's Tuur Hally. But to his dismay, Tuur Hally quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerard Roockeloos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jannes Delamenin. That made the score 4-6 in the 87 minute of play. Jannes Delamenin made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Gerard Roockeloos sent off a good shot on target. Jannes Delamenin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stef De Jonghe in the 95th minute of play. If Matias Van der Roost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Axel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
