Miguel Sommers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathis Calewaerts's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Kerkbrugge's Tristan Van den Bergen got a free kick in the 19th minute. Kris de Koninck struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Miguel Sommers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schemersberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris de Koninck in the 25th minute of play forced Kerkbrugge's goalkeeper Miguel Sommers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kerkbrugge's zone, Mathis Calewaerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Sommers came out of the goal and Mathis Calewaerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fransesco De Witte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Piet Huyghebaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Kerkbrugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aime Quvelirs to maneuver through the defense. Kris de Koninck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Miguel Sommers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Schemersberg's Piet Huyghebaert got control of the ball when Jeremie Van Huruck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jeremie Van Huruck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kerkbrugge's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremie Van Huruck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piet Huyghebaert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Mathis Calewaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fransesco De Witte to strike the kick off in the second half. Kris de Koninck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Piet Huyghebaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremie Van Huruck, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to Kerkbrugge getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aime Quvelirs hit a great ball. Miguel Sommers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris de Koninck in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Fransesco De Witte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piet Huyghebaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Kerkbrugge's goalkeeper Miguel Sommers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathis Calewaerts. Tristan Van den Bergen kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Miguel Sommers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Schemersberg's Rafael Vissenaekers got a free kick in the 75th minute. Miguel Sommers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris de Koninck in the 79th minute of play. Piet Huyghebaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fransesco De Witte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piet Huyghebaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremie Van Huruck in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kerkbrugge's Jeremie Van Huruck got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathis Calewaerts got free with Miguel Sommers in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Schemersberg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
