Gilles De Bruijn charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilles De Bruijn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Gilles De Bruijn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quillian Nys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Sannen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes TeamBE got a freekick which was hit by Gilles De Bruijn. Ben Sannen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Lorenz Van Herck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Ben Sannen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Quillian Nys. Ben Sannen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Francis Keldermans might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quillian Nys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francis Keldermans ran back to his position shaking his head. Lorenz Van Herck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffery Valkeneers having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Quillian Vranken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wakkerzeel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TeamBE the free kick. Quillian Vranken hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When TeamBE's Anthony Declerck in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wakkerzeel's goalie prevented a goal. TeamBE's Quillian Nys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Sannen in the 45th minute of play. Anthony Declerck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthony Declerck made a kick off. When Anthony Declerck came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the TeamBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Declerck couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Ben Sannen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wakkerzeel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 62 minutes into the game, Olivier Thijs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jeffery Valkeneers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quillian Nys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Keldermans in the 66th minute of play. Ben Sannen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ben Sannen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Sannen might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quillian Nys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Francis Keldermans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wakkerzeel's supporters rose to their feet, but Francis Keldermans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quillian Nys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Wakkerzeel's Ben Sannen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quillian Nys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Quillian Nys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Keldermans in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wakkerzeel had won after a very even match.
