Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oliver Van den Brul got the match started through his kick off. Angelo Goemyne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achilles Goons having to interfere. Arnout Sterks's late challenge caught a VC Wateringen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnout Sterks helped the player get up and apologised. Arnout Sterks kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Jerry Beeckmans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rolf Jaddon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. From close distance Oliver Van den Brul pressed in the 1-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 8 minutes into the game. 12 minutes into the match, VC Wateringen's goalkeeper Achilles Goons had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Van den Brul. The supporters of Glory209 booed when VC Wateringen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Hellemons didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Glory209's Angelo Goemyne in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VC Wateringen's goalie prevented a goal. After 24 minutes, Rein Vrancken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC Wateringen and the Glory209 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes VC Wateringen got a freekick which was hit by Rein Vrancken. Angelo Goemyne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achilles Goons having to interfere. Glory209's Rolf Jaddon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Beeckmans in the 29th minute of play. Samuel Van de Zande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Jaddon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Van de Zande in the 33rd minute of play forced Glory209's goalkeeper Rolf Jaddon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Glory209's Angelo Goemyne slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Achilles Goons. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. Maxime Huijbreghts hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, VC Wateringen's Jerry Beeckmans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolf Jaddon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Angelo Goemyne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes VC Wateringen got a freekick which was hit by Rein Vrancken. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Van de Zande made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, VC Wateringen's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Goemyne came free, but Achilles Goons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Goemyne took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Achilles Goons. Achilles Goons dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Rolf Jaddon came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by VC Wateringen's Jerry Beeckmans. But to his dismay, Jerry Beeckmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 63rd minute, Stephan Hellemons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the VC Wateringen defense, Angelo Goemyne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achilles Goons. The VC Wateringen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achilles Goons should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd match minute, Glory209 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Van den Brul to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Angelo Goemyne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glory209's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Goemyne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achilles Goons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Oliver Van den Brul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Achilles Goons. VC Wateringen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Van den Brul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Angelo Goemyne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achilles Goons having to interfere. Glory209 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
