The referee ignored Aiseau-Presles's protests and gave Fabien Van Haeght a yellow card for diving instead. Anthonio Lannoye helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34thth minute of the game Carel Maertens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinkwijk's Geert Verhengen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yannik Van Eersel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinkwijk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
