Martijn Verhaeghen scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmond Sellekaers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmond Sellekaers came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Antwerp FC's Pieterjan Goebelens. But to his dismay, Pieterjan Goebelens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Remie Van Geele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmond Sellekaers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balthazar Manaers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes of play, Sparta Raptors's Floris Van Hole made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernd De nuijter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmond Sellekaers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balthazar Manaers in the 74th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sparta Raptors's Remie Van Geele slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernd De nuijter. That made the score 3-2 after 83 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Royal Antwerp FC defense, Floris Van Hole kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernd De nuijter. The Royal Antwerp FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernd De nuijter should have stopped the shot. Royal Antwerp FC's Bernd De nuijter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Royal Antwerp FC from getting a goal against them. Edmond Sellekaers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balthazar Manaers in the 91st minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Floris Van Hole cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Bernd De nuijter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Sparta Raptors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
