With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolf Lijsens in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarno De Backer saved KFC Hoeilaart from getting behind. If Jan-Simon Laermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Oliver Smet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charly Van Severen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laurent Van Houtvinc. Wespelaar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute, Jan-Simon Laermans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurent Van Houtvinc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Timy Maerschalks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarno De Backer having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Rolf Lijsens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Hoeilaart's Jarno De Backer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Timy Maerschalks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarno De Backer having to interfere. Philipp De Moor charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philipp De Moor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Philipp De Moor kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Lijsens in the 32nd minute of play forced KFC Hoeilaart's goalkeeper Jarno De Backer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes KFC Hoeilaart got a freekick which was hit by Kristiaan Van Caels. In the 38th minute, Charly Van Severen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jan-Simon Laermans came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the KFC Hoeilaart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Simon Laermans couldn't finish the play. Wespelaar's Timy Maerschalks got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half KFC Hoeilaart were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jan-Simon Laermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurent Van Houtvinc having to interfere. Timy Maerschalks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Hoeilaart's zone, Rolf Lijsens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarno De Backer came out of the goal and Rolf Lijsens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Rolf Lijsens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarno De Backer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Simon Laermans did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Laurent Van Houtvinc 65 minutes into the match. Jarno De Backer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timy Maerschalks, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Wespelaar's Laurent Van Houtvinc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Wespelaar from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, KFC Hoeilaart's goal looked a bit too open when Timy Maerschalks came free, but Jarno De Backer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarno De Backer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Lijsens in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of KFC Hoeilaart booed when Wespelaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luukas Van den Berchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sylvan Coenen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Simon Laermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Laurent Van Houtvinc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Wespelaar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KFC Hoeilaart's performance. The match ended with a win for KFC Hoeilaart.
