Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daevy Storms took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fransesco De Werdt struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jesse Rauvoe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Pepingen. If Harry Carpenter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Niemandshoek's zone, Timy Smidts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesse Rauvoe came out of the goal and Timy Smidts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastien Marchal during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gwenn Van der Veeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Timy Smidts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Rauvoe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Carpenter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Rauvoe having to interfere. When Fransesco De Werdt came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the KAA Pepingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fransesco De Werdt couldn't finish the play. In the 40th match minute, KAA Pepingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert-Jan Claeys to maneuver through the defense. Giles Nys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Roel Voorhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timy Smidts to make the kick off. With his leg Jesse Rauvoe managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when KAA Pepingen's Gwenn Van der Veeren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Harry Carpenter managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAA Pepingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Carpenter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesse Rauvoe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fransesco De Werdt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roel Voorhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daevy Storms in the 60th minute of the match. Timy Smidts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Rauvoe having to interfere. In the 64th minute Timy Smidts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Rauvoe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Carpenter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesse Rauvoe having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Niemandshoek's Sebastien Marchal got a free kick in the 67th minute. Roel Voorhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daevy Storms in the 71st minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Niemandshoek got a freekick which was hit by Carl Van Cauwenberg. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind KAA Pepingen's goalkeeper Roel Voorhof, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daevy Storms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roel Voorhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giles Nys, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Niemandshoek booed when KAA Pepingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert-Jan Claeys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timy Smidts hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Niemandshoek's Giles Nys got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daevy Storms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roel Voorhof having to interfere. Giles Nys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Roel Voorhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
