Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 100) Marnix Vercruysse made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, FC Fatmax's goal looked a bit too open when Marnix Vercruysse came free, but Nicolaas Verelst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AFC Bucquoi getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sammy Goemyne hit a great ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Fatmax's goalkeeper Nicolaas Verelst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, AFC Bucquoi's Rens Van Der Weghen got control of the ball when Gert Van hoegaerde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gert Van hoegaerde's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Rens Van Der Weghen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 17 minutes into the match, FC Fatmax's goal looked a bit too open when Stef Van Eyck came free, but Nicolaas Verelst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludo Van de Plas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van Der Weghen having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, FC Fatmax's Gert Van hoegaerde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rens Van Der Weghen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gert Van hoegaerde scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rens Van Der Weghen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marnix Vercruysse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolaas Verelst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Marnix Vercruysse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Fatmax's Nicolaas Verelst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stef Van Eyck in the 42nd minute of play. Marnix Vercruysse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nicolaas Verelst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of AFC Bucquoi booed when FC Fatmax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges Bogaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes, Jorden Wenderickx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Bucquoi and the FC Fatmax players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Jorden Wenderickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludo Van de Plas to strike the kick off in the second half. Stef Van Eyck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stef Van Eyck got free with Nicolaas Verelst in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gert Van hoegaerde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Bucquoi's zone, Gert Van hoegaerde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rens Van Der Weghen came out of the goal and Gert Van hoegaerde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niel Van Beneden's late challenge caught a FC Fatmax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niel Van Beneden helped the player get up and apologised. 65 minutes into the game, one of AFC Bucquoi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Camiel Heijlen walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Rens Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludo Van de Plas in the 69th minute of the match. Jorden Wenderickx hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the game, Jannis Caes landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. AFC Bucquoi's Jorden Wenderickx got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Jorden Wenderickx off the ground. In the 83rd match minute, AFC Bucquoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nick Langhmans to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Fatmax's Nicolaas Verelst got control of the ball when Stef Van Eyck tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Fatmax fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC Bucquoi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
