In the 4th match minute, AFC Ajax Amsterdam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo De Geyter to maneuver through the defense. AFC Ajax Amsterdam's Emile Teunis got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Willy De Beer came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Memphis F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willy De Beer couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Isidoor Gijsbrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Emile Teunis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Memphis F.C.'s Jeoffrey Volders. Jeoffrey Volders was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Memphis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Theo Francken came free, but Jeoffrey Volders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theo Francken in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeoffrey Volders saved Memphis F.C. from getting behind. Emile Teunis took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeoffrey Volders. Jeoffrey Volders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Felix Olbrechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy De Beer in the 30th minute of play. 39 minutes in the game, Theo Francken fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeoffrey Volders having to interfere. Memphis F.C.'s Jeoffrey Volders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo De Geyter in the 40th minute of play. Emile Teunis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mathias Van de Weijer made the kick off in the second half. Mickael Ourogge kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Memphis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Theo Francken came free, but Jeoffrey Volders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Mathias Van de Weijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Olbrechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Willy De Beer could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Felix Olbrechts however easily saved by the left post. Jeoffrey Volders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theo Francken went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 78 minutes, Emile Teunis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Ajax Amsterdam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emile Teunis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Francken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The AFC Ajax Amsterdam fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when AFC Ajax Amsterdam's Emile Teunis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willy De Beer got free with Felix Olbrechts in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Memphis F.C.'s Jeoffrey Volders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emile Teunis in the 87th minute of play. Willy De Beer took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Olbrechts. Felix Olbrechts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. 96 minutes into the match, Memphis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Theo Francken came free, but Jeoffrey Volders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AFC Ajax Amsterdam had won after a very even match.
