The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Uytdebroeck got free with Roel Eggermont in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Sven Verhasselt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwenn Walters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roel Eggermont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romain Rondas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roel Eggermont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Rondas in the 43rd minute of play. Gwenn Walters didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Verhasselt went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven Verhasselt made a kick off. Horacio Ontañon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Sven Verhasselt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Olsa Brakel's goalkeeper Gwenn Walters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Verhasselt. 63 minutes into the match, Olsa Brakel's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Ontañon came free, but Gwenn Walters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim-Jan Bogaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Romain Rondas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Penalty! 2-5 came through a penalty shot after 77 played minutes, when KB Les Mauves FC:s Tran Van Menen calmly waited for Olsa Brakel:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. 85 minutes into the match, KB Les Mauves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido van Haghten came free, but Roel Eggermont reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido van Haghten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basiel De Maerschalckx during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KB Les Mauves FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Basiel De Maerschalckx hit a great ball. After 97 minutes of play, Olsa Brakel's Guido van Haghten made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roel Eggermont was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Olsa Brakel supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KB Les Mauves FC's performance. The match ended with a win for KB Les Mauves FC.
