If Kristen Van Den Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Leopold Teurfs sped through KV Tongrinne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarne Van Hinnendaels. Corneel Toussain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristen Van Den Bosch in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarne Van Hinnendaels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilian Descamps in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ewout De Meulder, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristen Van Den Bosch in the 41st minute of play forced KV Tongrinne's goalkeeper Jarne Van Hinnendaels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Club Brugge's Kristen Van Den Bosch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The goalkeeper, Jarne Van Hinnendaels, was totally fooled by Club Brugge's Benoit De Middeleer, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. KV Tongrinne's Gilian Descamps pulled a muscle in his back after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Michel Ivens's late challenge caught a KV Tongrinne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Club Brugge's Kristen Van Den Bosch got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Kristen Van Den Bosch rounded KV Tongrinne's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. When the match was over Club Brugge could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KV Tongrinne throughout the match.
